Integrative Medicine
AAC’s department of Integrative Medicine is a dual department which means we combine both AAC’s Allopathic and Conventional Medicine department services with the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Department services. This unique conceptual department in Lebanon and the Region offers services for your physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental health and well-being. Allopathic & Conventional Medicine
In Our AAC department of Allopathic and Conventional Medicine we tend to have both a personalized and multidisciplinary approach where patients of all ages with not only any musculoskeletal and neurological disorder but also with general health conditions, will be thoroughly assessed by a specialized Medical Doctor depending on the problem they present.If needed, our Medical Doctors will then formulate a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient.

Posturology involves the evaluation of the postural system as a whole in order to decrease pain related to joint blocking and myofascial hypertonicity.

Ergotherapy is a concerned with the promotion of health and well-being through occupation. The main goal of occupational therapy or Ergotherapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of daily living. Occupational therapists achieve this result by enabling individuals to perform those tasks that will optimize their ability to participate, or by modifying the environment so that it reinforces participation.
Psychomotricity focuses on prevention, screening and rehabilitation of psychomotor disorders at all stages of life. It links soma (body) and psyche (mind). The psychomotor therapist acts on the motor and the mental functions and / or the emotional disturbance with a work based on the body. Considering the whole person, it aims to reduce physical difficulties, but also to help the person to find a harmonious relationship with his or her body.
Orthophony focuses on the evaluations needed to track/delimit infantile voice and language delays/difficulties (oral and written), speech and oropharyngeal disorders. In the Language delay/difficulties, it Focuses on troubles with oral comprehension and expression (phonology, morphosyntax, content, usage), written comprehension. In Speech disorders it focuses on articulation, stuttering, craniofacial deformities, etc. and in Oropharyngeal disorders it focuses on swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)

Dr Elie Malek is the Founder and Manager of Allopathic Alternative Clinic – AAC. He is also the Co-Founder and Lecturer of International Osteopathic Training – IOT, a post-graduate training academy in Osteopathic Medicine/Osteopathy.

AAC podiatrist and Posturologist, Mr. Ghassan ABOU SAAB graduated from the French University of Victor Segalen, Bordeaux 2 in 2009. He subspecialized in sport podiatry and foot care of the athlete followed by a specific training in clinical posturology.
