Osteopathic Medicine

Osteopathic medicine is a "whole person" approach to medicine, treating the entire person rather than just the symptoms. It helps patients develop attitudes and lifestyles that don't just fight illness, but help prevent it, too.



Aromatherapy is a form of complementary medicine in which we use essential oils for therapeutic benefit. It can be inhaled, ingested or applied to the skin.


Homepathy is a form of complementary medicine in which health issues are treated by minute doses of natural substances that in larger amounts would produce symptoms of this health issue.

Clinical Nutrition & Sports Nutrition

Clinical and Sports nutrition focuses on the type, as well as the quantity of fluids and food taken by an athlete. It deals with the consumption of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, supplements and organic substances that include carbohydrates, proteins and fats.

Laser Treatment – LLLT & HILT

Laser therapies are medical treatments that use focused light. Unlike most light sources, light from a LASER (which stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) is tuned to specific wavelengths. This allows it to be focused into powerful beams.

Ergotherapy is a concerned with the promotion of health and well-being through occupation. The main goal of occupational therapy or Ergotherapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of daily living. Occupational therapists achieve this result by enabling individuals to perform those tasks that will optimize their ability to participate, or by modifying the environment so that it reinforces participation.


Psychomotricity focuses on prevention, screening and rehabilitation of psychomotor disorders at all stages of life. It links soma (body) and psyche (mind). The psychomotor therapist acts on the motor and the mental functions and / or the emotional disturbance with a work based on the body. Considering the whole person, it aims to reduce physical difficulties, but also to help the person to find a harmonious relationship with his or her body.


Orthophony focuses on the evaluations needed to track/delimit infantile voice and language delays/difficulties (oral and written), speech and oropharyngeal disorders. In the Language delay/difficulties, it Focuses on troubles with oral comprehension and expression (phonology, morphosyntax, content, usage), written comprehension. In Speech disorders it focuses on articulation, stuttering, craniofacial deformities, etc. and in Oropharyngeal disorders it focuses on swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)

Meet our Founder


Dr. Elie MALEK is Founder and Manager of Allopathic Alternative Clinic – AAC a high-end Medical Centre in Beirut district.  

Dr. MALEK is also Co-Founder, Lecturer and Board Member of International Osteopathic Training – IOT, a Post-graduate Training Academy for Medical Doctors, Osteopaths and Physical Therapists in Osteopathic Medicine and Osteopathy.

Dr. MALEK graduated in General Medicine from Saint-Joseph University, Beirut, Lebanon.
He is specialized in Osteopathic Manual Medicine from Paris V – Rene Descartes & Paris XIII- Bobigny, Paris, France, specialized in Sports Medicine from Paris VI- Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France and certified in Medical Acupuncture from China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center (CBIATC), Bejing, China.

Dr. MALEK is a specialist and Pioneer in Shock Wave Treatment (Radial and Focused) and in Low Level Laser Therapy & High Intensity Laser Treatment (LLLT & HILT). He is the first to practice Focused Shock Wave on the Lebanese soil and the first medical doctor to introduce this medical practice through his complete tower for Shock Wave Treatment Duolith SD1Ultra-Tower from Storz Medical to Lebanon and surrounding countries.
